I love to read!

Britten loves to "read" all of her books! She especially loves this Elmo counting book that Gammy gave her! We keep all of Britten's books in the living room on a shelf because we haven't got her a bookcase for her room yet. She always wants this one Dora book, and will pull them all out until she can find "backpack". (That's what she calls Dora) I think that Britten is going to love to read like her Mommy does! What a smart little girl she is!

Meow!!

Britten got this cute towel/robe from Aunt Nancy and Uncle Kevin! She looks so cute in it and loves to wear it! She just learned to say kitty (KIEEE)...and we are trying to get her to meow like she barks! HAHA! Thanks Uncle Kevin and Aunt Nancy for the cute gift! She absolutely loves it!

More puppies

Yes, thats right. Another litter of labs! We had nine all together.....6 yellow and three black ones. They are 2 1/2 weeks old and are so cute. These pics are when they were just a few days old. They all are very healthy and big! Their eyes just opened the other day. They are also crawling around a lot more. This is the last litter because I am betting both Kyle and Andi fixed! This is just too much work!

The dress from Aunt Averi and Uncle Pat

Britten got this adorable dress for Christmas from (Great) Aunt Averi and (Great) Uncle Pat. ( I had to put the Great in there to make Averi mad! HAHA) She looked so pretty in it and got so many compliments on it at church! Thanks guys!

Watching cartoons with Daddy

Justin and Britten love to watch cartoons in the morning together. They are two of a kind! Britten loves to talk to her Daddy and says his name over and over. She really hates it when he is at work and always asks where he is. As soon as he walks in from work, she stops whatever she is doing and goes and gives her Daddy a big hug, and kisses, too! She is for sure a Daddy's girl!

Ready to Play

The serious look!
Posing for the camera.
Clapping!! (practicing her cheers!)
We put Britten in this outfit before we went out to dinner tonight. She had just woken up from a nap, so she was in a really good mood. I think that the shirt fits her personality! haha!

Beary Cute

Britten got new pajamas from Scott and Valerie for her birthday, so we decided that she should try them out. She looks so cute in them, and they are really soft and warm. Britten really loves them and they are some of her favorite pj's. Thanks Val and Dunkee!

Blogger wouldn't let me post all of these pictures at once, but I wanted to get them all on there. Yall know me.....I can't just post one or two pictures....there has to be five or six! The sad part is there are a lot more from this day! haha!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

I have had these pictures for over a week, but I wanted to make sure everyone got their Christmas card with her picture on it first! Britten said that she is ready for Christmas, and hopes that it snows! It won't here in Georgia, though!

ALS Graduation Ceremony

Tonight Justin graduated from Airman Leadership School. This means that he is prepared to take on a supervisor role and will put on his next stripe in February. The class was five weeks long and trained all of the Senior Airmen to become Staff Sergeants. Staff Sergeant Steffens....sounds good, huh? The ceremony tonight was by far the most fancy thing that I have ever attended. It was so neat to be able to attend such a traditional military ceremony while watching my husband graduate. The ceremony made us feel very patriotic and proud to be a part of the United States Air Force.

Putting up the Christmas Tree

Right here, Daddy?

Yes, I know that I am cute!!
Today Britten helped us put up the Christmas tree. She really thought that the lights were cool, and liked getting all of the ornaments out. I think that we are really going to have to keep an eye on her while the tree is up! We tried to put all of the ornaments up high, but I am sure that she will somehow get them down! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

CHEEEEESE!
Can I have some, Kyle?what's in there, guys? Is it milk?
Britten loves it when the dogs are drinking their water,
and always squeals really loud when they are doing it. She had to take a closer look in these pictures! She loves them soooo much, and you can tell that they love her too! She calls both of them Kyle....I guess that Andi is too hard for her to say!

Britten and Santa

Tonight we took Britten up to the mall to meet Santa. She was very good, and didn't cry at all. It was a little hard to get her to smile;e, but we finally got a few good pictures. I overheard her telling Santa that all she wants for Christmas is to be at home in Texas with her family!
