Bath Time

Ellie loves her baths! She has never fussed since we have been able to give her a bath in her little tub. She enjoys getting wet, and smiles the whole time. Big sister, Britt, loves to help me get her sister clean. She is such a big helper and loves spending time with Ellie. Thanks, Pap Paw and Gammy for the bath! It is so helpful!

Storytime

Britten is reading out of her Children's bible to Ellie, who was very intent and seemed to listen! She is learning all about Noah from her big sister here! Definitely a picture worthy moment!

The Lake

We love going to the lake! Justin and I got bad sunburns.....Britt was the only smart one! We could have stayed there all day.....it was very relaxing.

Pop Pop the Fireman

Britten loves that her Pop Pop is a fireman. I have always told her that he was one, but I don't think that she really believed me! While we were in Texas we got to visit the fire station, which she thought was the coolest thing! I haven't seen it since I was little, so it was just as neat for me to see it again. She listened to Pop Pop and I know that she learned a lot. I think that she would have listened to him talk about all the equipment and the trucks all day! He has been volunteering there for many years (sorry Dad, forgot how many) and will get his name on a stone out front in a few years.) I know that I have always though that it was the neatest thing that my Dad was a firefighter, and I know Britten thinks the same thing!Thanks Pop Pop for taking us there!!

Karlie and Kaleb

Britten loved being able to spend time with Karlie and Kaleb. They all love to be silly together. Britten adores Karlie....and likes to do girly stuff with her. Don't let that fool you, though. She also loves to get dirty with Kaleb. It is always great to get them together. I know that they were both so glad to meet Ellie.....I didn't think that Karlie would let me take her back!! We love you both so much and look forward to seeing you both again soon!!

Cousins

Britten loves to spend time with all her cousins. Her are TayTay are two of a kind (Ok actually they are complete opposites), and love being together. They are inseparable when they get together! She loves getting dirty with Kendall, and watching Larry Boy with Cooper. She also likes to get on the floor and play with Clayton!! She was so excited to meet her newest cousin, Ryan. It was so neat to get them all together. We laughed at how much smaller Ellie was compared to Ryan! It was interesting trying to get them to take a picture together, but we finally got a few! I know that Mom and David were so thrilled to have their grandchildren together (minus two)! What fun we had!

Pauls Wedding

We were so glad that we were able to make it to Paul and Amanda's wedding last month! I know that Justin was so glad to see Paul and spend a little time with him. The wedding was beautiful and we were thankful that we could be there and see special people from Slaton! We wish the Hamilton's the best of luck in their new life together!

Such an Angel

We made it home. It is so nice to be back home with Ellie. She is getting used to her big bed, and all the noises (especially her big sister) and sights of our house. She looked so little in her car seat. I was glad to get here and out of the car....even though the hospital was just a few miles up the road it seemed like a long way! We are all doing good and glad to be home!

Steffens Party of Four

We are officially a family of four! Justin has three girls now....which seems a little scary to him I think. We are so blessed to have such a healthy, happy family and give all the thanks to God! Party of five.....one day!!

Big Sister Britten

Having two girls is going to be such a joy!! It was so neat to see Britten meet Ellie for the first time. She even brought in her own camera to capture the moment from her view. All Britten would do was giggle for the first ten minutes. She is such a proud sister....and I know that she will be great at it too!

Ellie Whitley Steffens

She's here!!! YEA!! Miss Ellie Whitley has blessed us with her arrival and we couldn't be more excited! Our beautiful bundle of joy was born at 2:53 pm yesterday. She weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches. She is doing great....look for more pictures soon!
