Tonya

Tonya is one of my best friends from Slaton, and we have know each other since we were in kindergarten (or before). Anyways....Britten has this one book that she loves called God Made Me. at the end of the book, it shows kids making different faces, and the one for SAD looks just like Tonya did at that age. I was telling her about it, and told her I would post it on here. The picture was hard to take(there is a bad glare), but I think that you can still see the resemblance! What do you think, Tonya?

More Fun in the Sun

I actually got her to look at the camera!

Today after nap time, Britten played in her pool. She had a lot of fun, and didn't want to get out. I put sunscreen on this girl twice, and she still managed to get a tan!

Summertime fun

She looks soo tall here!!
She gets the tongue sticking out trait from her Daddy!

This evening I went outside to water the flowers, and turned the sprinkler on for Britten. She had so much fun, and we ended up staying out there for 30 minutes! Her diaper was so heavy when we came inside! She loves being outside, especially when there is water involved!

Bye Bye to YAYA

YEA! No more YAYA! In case you are wondering what a yaya is, it is what Britten called her pacifier. I am so glad that this thing is gone! There was only one bad night, and after that she was fine. She never even asked for it! No more searching around the house for them anymore! YEA! Next....potty training!

Swinging

Yesterday after Daddy got off of work, we all went to the park for a picnic. It was such a nice evening, and we really enjoyed relaxing. After we ate, Britten played on the playground. She loved swinging, so Daddy figured that we better pick her up a swing. After Daddy hung it from the tree in the backyard, Britten went out there and tried it out in her nightgown. She had a blast!

Britten's artwork

Britten loves to color, but always ends up breaking the crayons. (Or eating them) I found Daddys washable markers, and let her go to town. She loved them and it was so much easier for her to color. She told me that she wanted to give her first picture to Daddy! It is now hanging on the fridge. She has learned almost all of her colors, but still tells us that "puple" is her favorite.

Chuck E. Cheese

Last night Britten and Daddy went to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. I had to work, so I couldn't go, but I loved seeing the pictures. It was Nathan Dalton ( one of Justin's work buddies son) 3rd birthday and Britten loved the pizza, cake, games, and of course Chuck E. Cheese himself! She will even say his name.....so cute. We were at Petsmart today, and she saw a hamster and called it Chuck E. Cheese. haha!

I'm KNOT a baby...I am TOUGH!

Does this knot make me look tough?

Britten is known to have a few incidents a day where she gets hurt....but let me tell you, this girl is tough. She gets the hard head from her Daddy, and the toughness from both of us. She was playing in our bedroom yesterday morning while we were getting ready and ran and jumped on a stack of pillows and hit the wall in the process. She didn't cry for long, and was back playing in no time. Justin thinks that she would be a good football player, but you have to be tough to be a cheerleader too, right?!
